(16th October 2025) — At the Startup Summit, NMIMS Chandigarh, Mohit Bansal, Founder & CEO of GMI Infra and Governing Council Member at TiE Chandigarh, shared that the event carried something rare — an honest, grounded energy about building things that truly last.
Reflecting on the day, he shared a few timeless reminders for every young builder, dreamer, and doer:
1️⃣ Fix the basics.
Big visions start small — with predictable systems, clear rules, and reliable infrastructure. When the foundation is strong, founders can fly.
2️⃣ Invest in people, not just projects.
Technology evolves rapidly, but it’s people — their talent, skill, and passion — that sustain growth. Every hour spent skilling locally multiplies impact globally.
3️⃣ Policy must meet practice.
Real transformation happens when government, academia, and industry collaborate with intent. That’s when ideas stop being slogans and start becoming outcomes.
4️⃣ Think beyond metros.
India’s next wave of innovation won’t just come from its biggest cities. Tier-2 towns, districts, and emerging ecosystems hold immense untapped potential. The future belongs to inclusive growth.
Mohit Bansal was also honored with a memento of “Deep Appreciation for Your Valuable Contribution as Distinguished Expert.”
He humbly dedicated this recognition to the larger entrepreneurial community — mentors, peers, and young founders — who believe that progress isn’t built in headlines, but in persistence.
“If you’re building something that connects infrastructure, talent, and impact — I’d love to hear your story. Because real change begins when passionate minds come together.”
